Reality and fantasy begin to blur when a teenager, alone in her attic bedroom, immerses herself in a role-playing horror game online.

"She's evil… and not just high school evil.”

A demon possesses high-school It-girl Jennifer (Megan Fox) after she is kidnapped and sacrificed in a failed occult ritual. Bloodthirsty, she seeks revenge through any man who crosses her path, but is challenged when her best friend, Needy (Amanda Seyfried), won´t stand idly by as the body-count rises.

Campy, funny, horrific and truly impressive. After initially receiving mixed critical reception, Jennifer´s Body has become a horror and teen cult-classic as queer and female audiences have reclaimed the title. Ahead of its time, the film is still referenced in Halloween costumes, fan-theories, and video edits as audiences are hungrier than ever for the iconic maneater, Jennifer Check!

Jennifer´s Body is featured as part of MANEATERS, a season exploring the female supernatural on screen. The season is presented with the National Film and Television School’s Film Studies, Programming and Curation MA.

“She Loved Men... To Death.”

Addicted to love, Elaine – the love witch – casts love and sex spells to seek her perfect man, finding herself with more dead bodies than she does a long-term partner…

A visually-striking, humorous and thought-provoking film by the continuously playful Anna Biller, The Love Witch has caused immense debate by audiences through its feminist themes. Visually drenched in 1970s fashion and cinematography, the film´s style feels as magical as the love witch herself.
